Dan Atkins cofounded and leads MinneAnalytics, a nonprofit serving Minnesota’s data science and analytics community, helping more than 10,000 professionals share ideas and best practices. MinneAnalytics hosts multiple free conferences each year that thousands of people attend. It also serves in an advisory capacity for a number of universities, and sponsors a college scholarships and data analytics competitions for future data scientists.
Dan is a locally raised and classically trained capitalist out of Carlson School and by day leads data science at Optum, an analytics company based in Eden Prairie, MN.
